The Cobh Road Train is proving a great hit with families this Summer. Affectionately known local as 'Thomas the Tank,' the train has been almost full to capacity every day of the Summer so far, such is its popularity.The train journey itself is 30 minutes long and takes its passengers around the town on an informative and entertaining trip. Scaling the heights of the hills of Cobh the journey takes in many of the scenic vistas of Cork Harbour that most visitors normally miss! Some of the views are astounding. To allow its passengers get in some of those all important photo shots, the train makes two scheduled stops.
Why not treat the kids to a spin on 'Thomas the Tank' before they go back to school. We are doing special family rates for the next two weeks for overnight stays, so you've no excuse!
