Ireland's oldest band, the Graiguenamanagle Brass Band from Kilkenny, perform a recital in the bandstand of the Promenade this afternoon. Afterwards, they were joined by the Cobh Confraternity Brass and Reed Band for a joint performance. Its great to see these bands playing in the bandstand; this is what the bandstand was built for and harks back to an era of grandeur; the Titanic era!
