Well other than Tuesday, the weather has been relatively warm and sunny for awhile now. Last weekend temperatures got upto 25c.
This weekend they are set to get hotter, with many weather sites predicting a mini-heatwave of sorts. Temperatures may get upto 27c or 28c. This good weather is forecast to last upto midweek and may be longer.
With this good weather now's the ideal time to take a break away....and for a short break in Ireland, there is nowhere more ideal than Cobh, Co. Cork. Located on the shores of Cork Harbour, only 10 minutes train ride from Fota Wildlife Park, and ideally located in East Cork to visit nearby attractions, beaches, etc., Cobh is a great place to spend a few days.
Aswell, this Sunday is Australia Day as Cobh pulls out all the stops to welcome the passengers and crew of the cruise liner Sea Princess. Over 2,000 passengers have been onboard since this liner left Sydney Harbour on a World Cruise. This cruise takes place every two years and this is now the 3rd Australia Day to welcome the liner to Cobh.
