Commemorative Tree Planting on Fota Island Saturday 27th August 2011 12 noon - 1.30pm. Macroom District Enviornmental Group and friends will plant a Yew Tree at the ancestral home (Fota Island) of Evie Dixon in her memory. Adm: Free



Craft Fair at Fota House 20th & 21st August 2011 10am -6pm. This event is free to the public. Craft Fair at Fota House as part of Cork Craft Month 2011, celebrating excellence in Irish craft and design.




Fota Learning Zone celebrates its First Birthday on 24th August 2011 3pm - 5pm. Fota learning zone a web resource for secondary teachers will celebrate its first anniversary by launching new updates. Join them for afternoon tea and take part in a special fun debate based on the people who lived and worked at Fota House! Admission: Free
