Fota Wildlife Park - celebrating 30 years!!!

Wow, is it really 30 years since Fota Wildlife Park first opened its doors!!! Located just 10 minutes from Cobh and the Commodore Hotel, Fota Wildlife Park has welcomed thousands of families and visitors over these years and is still one of Ireland's top attractions....and you can see why! Where else can you see so many wild and endangered animals running free and up close and personal. Zebras, giraffes, cheetahs, gibbons, lemurs and many species of monkeys...not to mention exotic birds and smaller animals. Indeed, Fota is known for its successful breeding programmes, especially its cheetah breeding programme.

With so many different species of animals roaming free, play areas for the kids, restaurants, shops, internal transport, and green picnic areas, Fota Wildlife is an ideal place to spend the entire day. There is just simple plenty to do and see....and it is so easy to get to Fota. From Cobh by road, Fota is a mere 10 minutes away....but why not take the train; an adventure in it's own right. Board the train at Cobh Railway Station and journey along the shores of Cork Harbour. Fota is just 10 minutes away by train but the views are just so spectacular!

To celebrate its 30 years the Park has shows from Bosco over the summer, themed weekends, facepainting, activities....see https://www.facebook.com/hashtag/fwp30

....and we've put together a special package that incorporates a visit to Fota. For only €299 this is an extra special offer! Enjoy two night's Bed & Breakfast at the Commodore Hotel and admission to Fota Wildlife Park for 2 Adults and 2 children. This offer is available for the summer months; to book click here.
