Titanic Tales - today's pilots at work


Pilots can still have a tough time today even despite the leaps in technology. When there's a storm a blowin' its just as tough today as it was in yesteryear. The toughest conditions at the harbour mouth are when you have a full blown southerly gale combined with a strong ebbing tide. Wind against tide can give rise to extremely challenging sea conditions.
